Welcome to Calendar of Black History

Committed to Black Americans and the significance of their history that precedes us.

The desire to create this site comes from a place of Love and appreciation for Black people and, especially, African Americans.  The calendar is designed to bring awareness to all people the events of Black American history. This calendar is a work in progress and is not as refined and complete as it will someday be. We’re thrilled you’ve decided to visit us.

What and Who is Calendar of Black History

WHAT

Our desire is to be a spark that brings Light and Life to relations between African American people and all other people of America.  The average American's exposure to the majority of events and people of the Black American past is actually very uncommon.  The Black American history is so very immense that it is unfortunately out-of-sight, out-of-mind because it is trapped within lengthy books, websites or museums - all of which are excellent sources.  However, there is a way to get these historical events and people on the American agenda for easy and frequent unveiling.  This calendar will bring each historical entry as an event to Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar.  This provides easy access to so much Black American history that otherwise has most likely never been seen.

WHO

One person, actually, whose heart has been captured by the beauty and unconditional value of the Black individual and the Black communities of America.  Alongside this Love is a heart that shares an immense emotional abhorrence for the oppressive and repressive sufferings Blacks have endured over the centuries, including the racism that still exists today.  This calendar has potential to open personal dialog between African American and all other American individuals.  Sharing, from one person to another person, how these historical events and people impact our hearts and lives today can help us unite together in our capacity to appreciate, include and ultimately Love one another.  Love never fails.  Love is free.  Love is a gift.  If ever conditions are attached to inclusion and acceptance, freedom would be excluded and Love absent. Love however, accepts and includes every person, without conditions, exactly as he or she also desires to be accepted and included.
